How to save our big world with little technology

Bettina Gajowski

Once someone said “Let`s nurture the nature so that we can have a better future”. Consequently, it is important to act environmentally friendly for instance to save fossil fuels and avoid carbon dioxide emissions. The next generations will thank us if we protect them and us from global warming.

The Company I will work is named Climatech plans with environmentally friendly heat systems with the intention of solving the problem of inefficient an environmental harmful heating. Especially heating pumps are very effective therefore but in contrast to that they are not as popular as they should be. How is it possible to improve those systems and promote them?

First of all the innovating aspects of heat pumps should be clarified. Firstly, with those systems you can heat without any carbon dioxide emissions as older heating systems with gas or oil or coal briquettes do. Secondly the pumps work with renewable energy which we do not have to waste fossil fuels. In addition, it operates with coolant and its different aggregate states which effectively use heat energy for example from ground water and let the energy increase to a higher level. With those facts we should advertise for heat pumps to make them more popular. Often when I tell someone something about heat pumps they even do not have heard anything about it. In my point of view this is the first thing that have to be changed and furthermore the idea of these environmentally friendly and sustainable products has to be spread by newspapers and multi media and stuff like that. It hast to be weighed whether it should reach many people via social networks or also a serious reputation with newspaper articles.

Of course, heat pumps are very expensive, but they can be developed ways better with cheaper material to reach that everyone can afford it. Nowadays clients are able to receive a preference from the state if they want to install such a pump which enables a big step into the right direction.

In my opinion heat pumps are our future and will make our life much more comfortable. To reach this we still have a long way to go. Like Obama said “Climate change is no longer a far-off problem; it is happening here, it is happening now.”
